To sell, install and service First Call products and/or services, as well as to perform office support activities in a manner consistent with the objectives to promote and foster total customer satisfaction.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Arrange appointments, install and explain First Call equipment/service as needed for clients in their homes. (Area covered: Greater Toronto & The Golden Horseshoe & The Kawarthas)
Assist the client in feeling comfortable using the First Call equipment.
Complete all appropriate paperwork, review for accuracy and enter the information into the system.
Perform service calls when needed.
Respond to inbound telephone inquiries regarding First Call products and services; provide accurate information and assist caller in choosing appropriate service.
Perform demonstrations as needed.
Respond to telephone, mail, electronic, and fax inquiries, requests, compliments, and complaints from clients and key accounts.
Collect information from callers and process all required documentation, including entering client information into database while talking on the telephone.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct all activities, ranging from administrative, telephone support, and data processing tasks as required, to support the full complement of First Call’s service offerings.
Collect referral source information from callers in order to enhance First Call’s sales and marketing efforts.
Assist on the testing and readiness of the First Call equipment to be installed.
Make test reminder calls to clients to verify equipment operation and provide reassurance that caring staff is available 24 hours a day.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma
Able to work in a flexible schedule
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Experience in customer service
Familiarity with telephone equipment
Knowledge of Windows applications
Ability to navigate through a variety of computer applications
Attention to detail
Fluency in English, oral and written
Ability to work independently
Must have their own reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s license with good driving record
Professional or volunteer experience with the elderly is a strong plus
Technical skills an asset
