1. YOU ACTIVATE

If you need help, press your Personal Help Button. The Help Buton is waterproof and available as a pendant, wristband or Fall Sensor*. GPS tracking** is also available.

2. WE RESPOND

A Trained professional from the FirstCall Emergency Response Team, with access to your information and instructions, communicates with you and ensures that help is sent without delay.

3. WE SEND HELP

Even if you cannot answer, FirstCall sends help at once, based on your specific needs. Even if you are unable to respond once your personal Help Button is activated, the FirstCall Emergency Response team sends help immediately.

4. WE NOTIFY

We will notify your contact list that help has been sent.

*The Fall Sensor may not detect all falls, so if able always press the Help Button when you need help.

How does the service work

Our service ranges depending on your needs and requirements. See below for our options.

If you have a Telephone Landline

The First Call medical alart has two parts: a wireless personal Help Button and a base unit connected to the telephone line. When the button is pushed, the base unit alerts operators at our monitoring centre. Hands-free, two-way voice communication is automatically available or, if we are unable to speak to you, we will send help immediately. The Help Button is streamlined, waterproof and available as a pendant or wristband. There is no problem if you accidentally press the button – simply tell the operator that you are okay. The unit can also be monitored so that an alert is activated if it is not used for a specified time period. Help Buttons can be worn around the neck, clipped to a belt or pocket flap, or on your wrist. All buttons are cordless, durable and waterproof. In a crisis or emergency situation, pressing your button connects you with the First Call monitoring station. We will talk to you or send the appropriate help immediately.

If you do not have telephone landline, we will use our own cellular telephone line, to provide our service to you.

The Mobile - On the Go - GPS Service

Feeling safe shouldn’t be constrained to your home environment. Our On the Go Mobile GPS unit, features a built-in cellular phone line, to allow it to contact us from your home, or while you are out and about and have an emergency situation. Fall detection and geo-fencing are available options. This unit is designed for active individuals who want to stay protected wherever they go, but it also perfect for individuals suffering from dementia and early Alzheimer’s.

Our Personal Response Systems are Reliable & Easy to Use

If you need help, press your Personal Help Button. The Help Button is waterproof and available as a pendant, wristband or fall detector device. A trained professional from the First Call Emergency Response Team, with access to your information and instructions, will communicate with you if possible, and will ensure that you get the help you need without delay.

Even if you cannot answer, First Call sends help at once, based on your specific needs. If you press your personal Help Button or have a fall and cannot answer, the First Call Emergency Response Team sends help immediately – whether it is an ambulance, family member, friend or neighbour.
